Charles Blackwell started with Joe at the age of 19 as his music director and arranger. His arrangements include Joe’s skiffle classic, “Sizzlin’ Hot” and number 1 hits like “Johnny Remember Me” and “Tribute To Buddy Holly”.  Soon, Charles was one of the most in-demand arrangers in England during the 1960′s.  Charles was also responsible for the complex arrangements of such Burt Bacharach film scores for What’s New Pussycat? and After The Fox.
